Whether you have an unlimited budget or a tight budget, you don’t need to blow money on things that aren’t really that important in the grand scheme of things. Your Wedding centerpiece certainly add to the ambiance, but they aren’t the main event. Fortunately, you can get a little creative and make unique, stunning centerpieces without blowing your budget.

If you haven’t been to the Dollar Tree since high school, or ever, you’re not alone, but you’re sure missing out. This store is a gold mine for wedding decorations and party planning in general. Granted, a little creativity tends to be involved, but if you’re looking for affordable centerpieces, it’s undoubtedly an excellent place to start.

Anything you can’t find at the Dollar Tree can be found at Michael’s, Hobby Lobby, or your local craft store for DIY centerpieces so you can spend the money you save on other fun things like the honeymoon.

Create a Dried Flowers Wedding Centerpiece

Dried flowers are a beautiful and easy way to create wedding centerpieces for parties. It’s simple to find them at most stores in bulk, but they can be expensive if you buy them individually. With a bit of creativity, though, it is possible to get a beautiful and inexpensive centerpiece that will wow your guests. One of the simplest ways is just to add them to a bowl.

This is a great way to use what you already have. Dried flowers can be purchased at most craft stores and are inexpensive. You can also add fresh flowers to the arrangement for a more romantic touch.

Glitter Dipped Mason Jars

If you are looking for an affordable centerpiece that will wow your guests, consider using some glitter-dipped mason jars. All you need are some pre-made jars from the dollar store, a jar of glitter, and some hot glue to secure them. Place the jars on a table or in different places around the room for an easy centerpiece that makes a big statement.

Consider using glitter-dipped mason jars if you are looking for a centerpiece with an affordable price tag and lots of wow factor. The best part is that they are super easy to make. Simply purchase mason jars, some glitter, spray paint or paint in your desired color, and Mod Podge. Glitter Dipped Mason Jars for a Boho Chic Centerpiece

Paper Lanterns Wedding Centerpiece

This project is much easier if you buy pre-cut paper lanterns or have access to a Cricut to make the cuts. Create gorgeous paper lanterns with cut-outs of any theme that suits your personality (we love either table numbers or the couple’s initials). Pop in an LED light, and you have a beautiful and unique wedding centerpiece that doesn’t break the bank.

Sand Art Terrariums

If you never got to make sand art at your local fair, put that on your bucket list. You already know that it’s a fun project if you have done it. We suggest you ditch the bright-colored rainbow patterns for something a little more elevated. Try rotating different colors of glitters or monotone colored sand. You can buy the sand from Etsy (support small businesses!) or at just about any craft store as well. Buy some cheap clear vases and fill them up with swirling, unique, whimsical patterns. Then buy some greenery or succulents to go on top, and you’ve got super unique centerpieces that you can use to decorate your house in the future as well.

Babies Breath Bouquets

Sometimes you just want floral wedding centerpieces, and that’s okay too. If you don’t want to spend a fortune on a florist to do centerpieces, you can also consider filler flowers such as baby’s breath. While it may not look like much in small amounts, it can be exquisite and charming if you make huge bouquets. Bonus is that baby’s breath looks stunning because of the white at weddings and is available any time of the year. Spray paint cheap, glass vases with metallic spray paint, and you’ve got beautiful floral centerpieces that no one will know you made on a budget.

Painted Wine Bottles

This is an easy but fun project and super affordable if you have access to wine bottles. Peel off the label and use metallic spray paint on the bottles. They look surprisingly beautiful and make a pretty centerpiece that costs you much less than just about any other option. Since it’s upcycled already, you won’t have to feel bad about throwing them in the recycling or passing them along to another bride when you’re done. Put a note out on social media letting people know you need them, and it shouldn’t be too hard to get plenty in time for the big day.

Everhart Gathering Place offers the perfect backdrop for your big day. Whether you want to decorate as a DIY or bring in floral centerpieces, it will look gorgeous in our reception hall or conservatory.
